Joy Behar loves attacking President Donald Trump and his administration every single day on her ABC talk show “The View.” On Wednesday morning, however, she took these attacks way too far, and it didn’t take long for this to come back to bite her.
Raw Story reported that Behar and her fellow liberal panelists slammed Department of Homeland Security Sec. Kirstjen Nielsen for her testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday. The women of “The View” mocked Nielsen for defending Trump’s alleged “sh*thole” comments and for saying that she did not to know that the majority of people in Norway are white.
“Sen. Kamala Harris pointed out the most troubling aspect of all this when she took the mic,” said co-host Whoopi Goldberg.
“Does she know that people in China are Asian?” quipped Joy Behar.
Reverse the colors & the parties…CAN YOU IMAGINE THE UPROAR FROM #Dems, Black Caucus, Joy Reid, Maxine Waters, April Ryan, Cory Booker, HRC, feminists, Rosie, Whoopie, Joy Behar, Morning Joe, @CNN, @MSNBC if this was a white Conservative male verbally attacking a black woman? pic.twitter.com/cIVl0mZu3a

This comes days after the Daily Caller reported that Behar claimed that Trump “wouldn’t have won” the election if Martin Luther King Jr. were still alive today. She said this during a discussion in which the show’s co-hosts wondered aloud what movement the civil rights leader would be involved with.
“I actually think that Trump wouldn’t have won if Martin Luther King were around,” Joy Behar explained. “I really don’t. I think that… first of all he was the most charismatic person of his time. And I think that he would have rallied the troops to vote against Trump. So that’s a real loss.”
“I think he would have been horrified by Charlottesville,” she added. “I think he would have been so upset.”
“Well, yeah,” Whoopi Goldberg interjected. “Because I am sure he would have thought ‘how the hell did we go backwards?”
“And then when the man in the White House says ‘there are some nice people, some are good people there’ talking about neo-Nazis. That’s something that I think would have gotten a really strong reaction from Dr. King,” Behar responded.
WHAT WOULD #MLK DO TODAY? Fifty years after his death, we discuss our ideas of how Martin Luther King, Jr. would be continuing the fight for justice and peace. https://t.co/f8u2wc159S pic.twitter.com/aF5YfIFCvy
