Disney CEO Bob Iger, who also presides over ABC, is still desperately trying to do damage control after “The View” host Joy Behar mocked Vice President Mike Pence’s Christian faith last month.
Fox News reported that Iger told shareholders that Behar apologized “for things she has said about Christians and the Trump administration.”
“Iger agrees that was appropriate,” Daniel Miller wrote for the Los Angeles Times.
“Disney CEO Bob Iger says he took exception with Joy Behar’s remarks about Christianity and VP Mike Pence. Says Behar apologized to Pence,” Wall Street Journal reported Joe Flint wrote on Twitter.

ABC has received over 30,000 more complaints since the Media Research Center launched a campaign to hold Behar responsible for spewing “anti-Christian bigotry.” Behar and her cohost Sunny Hostin mocked Pence on February 13 for his strong Christian views.
After Pence said that he believes God talks to him, Hostin said, “I don’t know that I want my vice president, um — speaking in tongues and having Jesus speak to him.” Behar then took this even further, saying that hearing from Jesus is actually called “mental illness.”
“To have ABC maintain a broadcast forum that compared Christianity to mental illness is just wrong,” Pence said. “It is simply wrong for ABC to have a television program that expresses that kind of religious intolerance.”
MRC was infuriated as well, saying that Behar and Hostin “took the liberal media’s pronounced bias against Christianity to the next level.” As of Wednesday morning, ABC has received 30,588 calls demanding Behar and Hostin be held accountable. In addition, MRC President Brent Bozell published an open letter to ABC News calling for an apology.
