On the way to Cincinnati, Ohio, the President’s Deputy Press, Secretary Raj Shah, dropped some surprising news on reporters in the press area aboard Air Force One, writes Spero News.
On February 5, Shah was speaking with the reporters when he was asked by one journo, “FISA warrant should it be released? and what about a second special counsel?”
Shah responded with, “President’s attorneys have addressed this and said yes to a second special counsel.”
The FISA Memo, put together by the House Intelligence Committee, detailed how senior officials in the FBI used a bogus document (i.e. the Russian Dossier) to obtain FISC warrants allowing the National Security Agency to spy on American citizens related to the Trump transition team.
Regarding the FISA Memo, Shah replied, “That document along with any other that the House Intelligence Committee chooses to vote out of its committee through its process and all the House procedures, we would entertain like anything else.”
All of this spells trouble for former FBI Director James Comey, who had signed off on at least one FISA warrant and will most likely be the target of a second special counsel investigation.
Following the release of the memo on February 2, Comey took to Twitter to state, “That’s it? Dishonest and misleading memo wrecked the House intel committee, destroyed trust with Intelligence Community, damaged relationship with FISA court, and inexcusably exposed classified investigation of an American citizen. For what?”
That’s it? Dishonest and misleading memo wrecked the House intel committee, destroyed trust with Intelligence Community, damaged relationship with FISA court, and inexcusably exposed classified investigation of an American citizen. For what? DOJ & FBI must keep doing their jobs.

If I were James Comey, I’d be worried. The former @FBI Director is tweeting dumb stuff like “is that it?” But he should be hiring a good lawyer.

Comey, who broke Bureau protocol and professional ethics by leaking classified information to a Columbia University professor with ties to the media, is quite the hypocrite in labeling what the Intelligence Committee did as disastrous.
The former Director is also quite the liar as well. Exactly what how did the Memo expose a ‘classified investigation’ of Carter Page that has been common knowledge for a year?
Shah has made it known that the sights of the President’s attorneys are now on Comey. He had best ‘lawyer up’ himself.
What do you think? Should Comey be investigated?
