A U.S. attorney has confessed to acting as a ‘back channel’ between Christopher Steele, the former MI6 agent and author of the discredited Russian dossier, and Democratic Sen. Mark Warner. The same attorney is also on record as saying most of the Dossier’s funding came from Silicon Valley billionaires and George Soros.
According to the Daily Caller Adam Waldman said, during a November 3 appearance before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI), that he was told on March 16, 2017 by a staffer of Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein’s (Daniel Jones) that there were “links between billionaire activist George Soros and Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm that commissioned the dossier.”
“He was there as Fusion GPS. He brought up Fusion GPS,” Waldman told The DCNF of his interaction with Jones.
“It was very, very clear.”
On the Deripaska op-ed, put aside the Soros talk. It's more than a little strange that Deripaska's lawyer, Adam Waldman, was the guy Sen. Warner went through trying to get to Christopher Steele. https://t.co/EVyADINifF pic.twitter.com/968Is47vD4

The Daily Caller reached out to Fusion GPS attorney Josh Levy for a comment but got the following reply: “I’m not commenting for your story.”
In February of this year, it was learned that Waldman, through his firm Endeavor Law, sent text messages to Sen. Warner in February 2017 in which he attempted to set up a meeting between Steele (whom he was unofficially representing) and the Senator. Warner was interested and did pursue the chance to meet with Steele.
Waldman also suggested that Warner communicate with Julian Assange of Wikileaks, who is living under asylum in the Ecuadorian embassy in London.
A short time later, Jones initiated contact with Waldman.
The Daily Caller writes that it “remains unclear why Jones reached out to Waldman. Jones and Waldman’s relationships to Steele are also a mystery. Waldman declined to comment on that particular matter, and a request for comment from Steele’s lawyers in London was forwarded to a legal adviser who said they could not speak to the media on Steele’s behalf.”
According to The Federalist, it seems that Jones was hired by fusion after the lection of President Trump to “validate the dossier.” This sounds suspiciously like ‘damage control’.
Congressional Republicans are now beginning to question the role Waldman played in the faux Russian collusion story and possible ties to Russian organized crime he had. They should also investigate the major role Soros played in trying to subvert our democratic processes.
What do you think? Was Soros involved in the Russian Dossier.
